Do not you see [to] those who (were) hypocrites, saying to their brothers, those who disbelieved, among the People (of) the Scripture, "If you are expelled, surely we will leave with you, and not we will obey concerning you anyone, ever; and if you are fought, certainly we will help you." ART THOU NOT aware of how those who would always dissemble [their real feelings] speak to their truth-denying brethren from among the followers of earlier revelation: “If you are driven away, we shall most certainly go forth with you, and shall never pay heed to anyone against you; and if war is waged against you, we shall most certainly come to your succour.” But God bears witness that they are most flagrantly lying
Hast thou not observed those who are hypocrites, (how) they tell their brethren who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture: If ye are driven out, we surely will go out with you, and we will never obey anyone against you, and if ye are attacked we verily will help you. And Allah beareth witness that they verily are liars
Hast thou not observed the Hypocrites say to their misbelieving brethren among the People of the Book? - "If ye are expelled, we too will go out with you, and we will never hearken to any one in your affair; and if ye are attacked (in fight) we will help you". But Allah is witness that they are indeed liars
Have you not seen those who have become hypocrites? They say to those of their brethren who disbelieve from among the followers of the Book: If you are driven forth, we shall certainly go forth with you, and we will never obey any one concerning you, and if you are fought against, we will certainly help you, and Allah bears witness that they are most surely liars
Have you not seen those who act hypocritically? They say to their disbelieving companions from among the People of the Book, If you are driven out we shall surely go out with you, and we shall never listen to anyone against you, and if war is waged against you, we shall help you. God bears witness that they are indeed liars
Hast thou not considered those who are ones who are hypocrites? They say to their brothers—those who were ungrateful— among the People of the Book: If you were driven out, we, certainly, will go forth with you and we will never obey anyone against you ever. And if you were fought against, we will, certainly, help you. And God bears witness that they, truly, are ones who lie.
Have you not considered those who act hypocritically? They tell their brethren among the People of the Book who disbelieve: "If you are expelled, we will leave along with you. We shall never obey anyone concerning you. If you are attacked, we will support you." God will show them up as liars!
Have you ˹O Prophet˺ not seen the hypocrites who say to their fellow disbelievers from the People of the Book, “If you are expelled, we will certainly leave with you, and We will never obey anyone against you. And if you are fought against, we will surely help you.”? But Allah bears witness that they are truly liars.
Have you noticed those who act hypocritically? They say to their brothers, the faithless among the people of the Book, "If you are driven out, we will surely leave with you, and we will not obey anyone who wants to harm you; and should anyone fight you, we will certainly support you." But God bears witness that they are truly liars.
Have you (O Muhammad) not observed those who were hypocrites? They say to their fellow disbelievers among the people of the Scripture: “If you are expelled, we indeed will go out with you. We will never obey anyone against you. Even if you are attacked, we will indeed help you.” But Allah is witness that surely they are liars.
Hast thou not seen those who act with hypocrisy, saying to their brothers who disbelieve among the People of the Book, “If you are expelled, surely we shall go forth with you. And we shall never obey anyone against you. And if you are fought, we shall help you.” God bears witness that they are surely liars
Have you noted those who are hypocrites, they say to their companions in disbelief among the people of the Scripture: "If you are driven out we will go out with you, and we will never obey anyone who opposes you. And if anyone fights you, we will support you." God bears witness that they are liars
Have you [Prophet] considered the hypocrites who say to their fellows, the faithless among the People of the Book, ‘If you are driven out, we shall go with you- we would never listen to anyone who sought to harm you- and if you are attacked, we shall certainly come to your aid’? God bears witness that they are in fact liars
Beholdest thou not: those who dissemble saying Unto their brethren who disbelieve among the people of the Book: if ye are driven forth we shall surely go forth with you, and we, shall not ever obey anyone in your respect, and if ye are attacked, we shall surely succour you. They say to their brethren among the people of the Book who do not believe: "If you are driven out we shall go with you, and will not listen to any one in what concerns you; and if there is war against you, we shall aid you." Did you not see the hypocrites saying to their brothers, those among the People of the Book who are kafir, ´If you are driven out we will leave with you, we will never obey anyone to your detriment. And if you are fought against we will help you´? Allah bears witness that they are truly liars.
Have you not considered those who are hypocrites: they say to their brothers who disbelieve from among the People of the Book: "If you are driven away (from Madinah), we will certainly go out with you, and we will never obey anyone against you. If war is waged against you, we will most certainly help you." God bears witness that they are indeed liars

And Allah testifies that surely they are liars indeed
Have you not seen the hypocrites who say to their disbelieving brothers among the People of the Book, "If you are driven out, we shall, also, leave the town with you and we shall never obey whoever seeks to harm you. If you are attacked, we shall help you." God testifies that they are liars
Did you not see the hypocrites saying to their brothers from those of the people of the Book who are unbelievers, .If you are expelled, we will certainly go out with you, and we will never obey anyone about you. And if you are fought against, we will definitely help you. Allah bears witness that they are pure liars
Have you not noted the hypocrites how they told their disbelieving brethren among the People of the Scripture, "If you are driven out, we certainly will go forth with you, and shall never heed anyone against you. And if you are attacked, certainly shall we help you." But Allah bears witness that they surely are liars
Have you not seen the hypocrites say to the disbelieving brethren among the People of the Book (Scripture)? "If you are forced out, we will also go out with you, and we will never listen to anyone about your affair; And if you are attacked (in fight) we will help you." But Allah sees that they are indeed liars
Have you not considered those who practice hypocrisy, saying to their brothers who have disbelieved among the People of the Scripture, "If you are expelled, we will surely leave with you, and we will not obey, in regard to you, anyone - ever; and if you are fought, we will surely aid you." But Allah testifies that they are liars
Have you not observed the hypocrites? They say to their fellow unbelievers among the people of the Book: "If they drive you out, we will go with you. We will never obey anyone who seeks to harm you. If you are attacked we will certainly help you." Allah bears witness that they are lying

And we will never listen to anyone against you! And if they wage war against you, we will indeed help you”... Allah bears witness that they are most certainly liars!

Did you not ponder -O Muhammad- how the hypocrites promised aid to their fellows-in-disbelief among Ahl AL-Kitab and how they disappointed their expectations? They said to them: "If you are expelled and ousted of your homes we will go with you, find never will we be influenced by anyone to fight against you and if you are attacked we will come to your aid". And Allah knows they are liars
Did you not see those hypocrites who say to their brothers who do not believe from among the owners of the book, “If you are driven out we (too) will definitely go out with you and we will never obey anyone against you and if you are attacked in fighting, we will definitely help you.” And Allah is a Witness that they are certainly liars.
